Company Description
USRT works to ensure the protection, enhancement, and restoration of natural and cultural resources, activities, and rights of the Compacting Tribes that are reserved by Treaties and Executive Orders, protected by federal laws and agreements, or are the subject of aboriginal claims asserted by the Tribes.
USRT staff work as an information gathering/dissemination and coordinating resource for the USRT member tribes in respect to fish, wildlife, land, water, cultural resources, and federal trust responsibility objectives.
USRT does not have the authority to provide government-to-government consultation, but can assist in the facilitation of technical and policy meetings.
